With over 30 of infuence on the surround communities we truly believe in the Club and Community relationship. At Hunter Soccer Camp we encourage players to grow with the Club, from intramurals through to travel, and beyond.
Since its inception in 1980, Hunter Soccer Camp has continued to gain a reputation for it’s excellence of instruction and player development on and off the soccer field.
Our philosophy is simple – “success for all players.” With this approach, our carefully selected, highly qualified and well motivated professional coaching staff maintains player enjoyment. Learning the game in this environment ensures our commitment to total player development.
At HSC we understand that all players learn at their own pace, each camper is a unique challenge for us to develop. Our coaching methodology is a blend of training techniques from around the world (NSCAA, USSF, UEFA, and the English FA) combined with the experience of 30 plus years running the Hunter Summer Soccer camp program.
Our staff are true professionals from around the world with a passion for teaching the game. We will place your child in an age and skill appropriate group and focus on the development of their technical and tactical abilities.
We strive for constant individual player improvement through training based on the Dutch Couver balls skills which maximizes player’s touches on the soccer ball at all times.
We utilize small sided team games to help players enhance their situational game play. Our staff program also includes constant encouragement that will unlock your campers’ inner confidence
When our week is over we want each camper walking off the field with all the great aspects of the game we love so much; personal achievement and identity, respect for others, respect for the game, and fun!
All campers should bring plenty of water and a snack. Sunscreen & bug spray should be applied before camp if needed. All campers should wear Shorts, tee shirt, sneakers or cleats. All Premier Campers and Keeper Campers must wear shin guards. Sneakers are fine but we encourage the older children to wear soccer cleats. Campers will receive a HSC tee shirt and camp ball at check-in on Monday. Please mark all of your equipment with your name with a permanent marker.

For over 35 years, we have forged a strong and rich relationship with Adrian. He is considered to be a part of many families in Glenside. His influence on the local youth Hunter players is immeasurable. While in England, Adrian has worked with the local youth at the Redbridge Sports Center, Roding Valley FC and Newbury Park FC. When Adrian isn’t coaching or at a West Ham game, he is Director of Security for a large firm in London. He lives outside of London with his very patient wife Julie, and 2 children.
Adrian assembles his coaching team in London and ensures every member of his team is qualified to implement the camp coaching curriculum and philosophy. He passed his passion and skills on to his son Joseph, who is now a Coach with the camp. Each year, he brings the same coaches if their schedule permits it. You will recognize the same coaches for the past five years with a new face every now and then. Our aim as a program is ensure top quality coaches committed to our philosophy – ensuring a fun developing environment for every player!

He runs Goalie Clinics all over the world, and we are lucky he fits Hunter into his schedule. He is a veteran of the Essex Senior League and in his teens, scouted by Arsenal FC. When he isn’t coaching, he plays Goalie for several teams including for the band Iron Maiden . He is retired from the law industry, has 3 children and lives in the quaintest town with his wife Jo. Like the rest of the Coaches, he is a West Ham Supporter. Vince is our best dressed Coach off the field, if you need help coordinating an outfit, he is the man.

Son of Adrian. Joe started with the camp as Premier camper at age 7, worked his way to Helper and has been a Coach for several years now. He plays Attacking Midfield for the Old Bealonians Soccer team in Essex. Joe and Conall are in the same league, so you can find them playing against each other back home. He has no choice but to be a West Ham Supporter and has season tickets, he doesn’t miss any home games with his father. Back in England, he is a Bricklayer by trade. If you are looking for a challenge, have a soccer ball juggling contest with Joe, you will most likely lose.

Tom took over the camp from his father in 2014. Hunter Soccer Camp has been a part of his entire life. Like Coach Joe, he was a camper, a helper, coach and now Director. He continues to make improvements to the camp to keep it up to date while still following his father’s concept of offering an affordable camp for the community to play soccer in a fun environment. The Hunter Soccer Camp is a family affair and you will find his wife Amanda on the field with their 3 children, his sister Shawn with her two boys and his mother Dottie making an appearance. His brother EJ lives in Australia, he was a camper, a helper, and has fond memories of picking out the original camp logos and doing the brochure “mailings”, today he handles the website and registration for the camp. We get everyone involved! Due to Adrian’s influence, Tom and his family are West Ham supporter and he tries to see a game in the UK every year with Adrian. He hopes your children enjoy the camp and make great memories with our amazing staff and program.
Today, Ed’s involvement is limited, though his influence unlimited. Ed Clark has an ability to make everyone around him better and has made a lifetime out of it. He had the unique ability to coach players without them realizing they were being coached; it’s the basis for our curriculum and camp environment as a whole. Ed’s family continues to run the camp operations and improve each year as he always did. Ed's old motto is “Don’t practice until you get it right, practice until you don’t get it wrong!”
